Darwen Electrical Services is an OLEV approved specialist supplier and installer of Electric Vehicle charging equipment. Whether it’s a one-off home installation or for a company fleet, D.E.S. has the knowledge and certification to assist.
As an OLEV approved installer we can assist when it comes to accessing OLEV funding towards the cost of your electric car charging point installation.
The OLEV Grant, also known as Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme (EVHS), provides £500 off the cost of purchasing and installing a home charging point. It is available for most electric cars and plug-in hybrid cars.
You can claim one charging point per eligible vehicle and up to two charging points per household.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE OLEV GRANT, YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Purchased an eligible electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle from 1st October 2016 onwards
- You must have off-street parking
- You must use an OLEV-approved home charging point installer
